From the start I should note that sipping a good Irish whiskey is one of my favorite things to do. Very neutral and not an exciting nose with just a hint of pete.

Proper 12 neat has a slightly petey flavor that does not permeates the pallet and beats it to death.  Instead it rounds out the flavor very nicely. The finish is a bit on the hard side at first but very smooths out with a couple ice cube.

The head was complete relaxation. I really enjoy the way this whiskey makes me feel.The morning after is still a bit fuzzy but not bad at all. I’m very happy with this bottle
